#1 - No Spamming
The Krahs Emag Forums are not to be used as a marketing tool for your web sites or products. This applies not only to individuals but also to commercial spamming. There will be a forum for advertisments. That is the only place you are allowed to advertise.

Also, there is no reason to make posts just to make posts. Making posts just to raise your post count will not be tolerated and will be considered spam or trolling.


#2 - No Bashing/Flaming/Trolling/Defamatory posts
There is absolutely no reason to verbally attack another user (aka flaming), an idea or a product (aka bashing). There is also no reason for posting a message for the express purpose of generating a negative response (aka trolling).

Any defamatory posts made against Krahs Emag, its representatives, or any other member may result in an immediate ban or temporary account disablement.


#3 - No Profanity
While we might let you get by with saying 'ass' or 'damn', remember, this is a public place and there are probably people younger than you who are reading it. It's safe to use language that is acceptable on network television (NOT CABLE!).


#4 - No Piracy
No forms of piracy will be tolerated. Cracks, Warez, whatever. Emulators may be fully discussed as they are not illegal. You may disscuss roms, but if you tell any information on obtaining them, it is a bannable offence.


#5 - No Mod-Chips or Warez
While we understand that some people use them solely for the purpose of playing imports and we respect that, far too many people use mod-chips to play illegally copied games. Because of this, the discussion of mod-chips is not permitted. There is no reason to discuss mod-chips with the existance of software like the free loader.


#6 - No Cracking/Using Another Member's Account
Using another member's account without their permission will be an immediate, permanent banning. No exceptions.


#7 - No Circumventing a Ban
If you are banned, there is a reason. If you want to inquire as to why you were banned, please send an unban request. Creating another username to circumvent the ban or to ask about a ban will cause your 'alternate' name to be permanently banned and your 'main' name's ban time will be doubled.


#8 - No Online Cheating
You may discuss online cheating, and even say that you do it, but you may not in any way provide methods, assistance, or mediums for online cheating. This means no codes that allow you to cheat online. However, if say the game is Unreal, and there is a special room for cheat codes enable games, you may more liberal in your discussion, but you must first obtain permission from the staff.


#9 - No Threats
Do not threaten another member in any manner.


#10 - No Porn or Strong Sexual Content
This includes links to adult web sites and/or posting content that may not be suitable for younger viewers.


#11 - Retransmiting Information
You agree that you will not copy or retransmit any of the information from within this site without first achieving permission of an admin and the original author of the message. All of the content herein is copyrighted and represents this site. You may copy a few sentences, but not entire articles.


#12 - Copying Origional Posts on Another Site
If a few sentences are copied a URL linking back to the original article is required.


#13 - Loopholes
Loopholes do exist, and if exploited will be responded to with punishment fitting of the offense.


#14 - Everything else
The moderators reserve the right to enforce the rules in any matter they see fit. If there is something that someone does that they think is wrong, they are authorized to deal with it as they think best
